Middle School English Language Arts
Middle School English Language Arts
Warsaw Elementary strives to create experiences that empower, inspire, and engage all learners in every classroom, every day.
WARE English Language Arts (ELA) curriculum provides a comprehensive and coherent set of goals for all students. The curriculum is in alignment with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study (NCSCoS) and provides an outline for what each student should know and be able to do. The NCSCoS includes a focus on reading informational and literary texts, writing, speaking and listening, and language. Duplin County Schools (DCS) supports schools in their efforts to provide standards-based, rigorous ELA instruction to all students and ensure that all students have equal access to a quality education.
The resources provided below are from The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
Resources for parents can be found on the main NCDPI website as well as in the Virtual Implementation Kit (VIK). These resources can be used to support student learning outside of school.
